Nokia’s new 3310 has been the surprise hit of 2017.
Since the device was unveiled at Mobile World Congress in February it’s seen record interest from consumers.
This rebooted feature phone includes a bigger colour screen, rear camera and updated design.
There’s also a month-long battery life and a refreshed version of the classic snake game.
Nokia’s 3310 goes on sale next week and costs just £49.
There’s no doubting that for anyone wanting a simple second phone, or something to pack in their festival rucksack, the Nokia 3310 is the perfect device.
But, if you are grabbing one and heading to Glastonbury it’s worth knowing that your smartphone SIM may not fit inside this budget call maker.
The Nokia 3310 only accepts a Micro SIM and most modern smartphones, including the iPhone and Galaxy devices, all use a Nano SIM.
Luckily, this problem is easily fixed as you can buy an adapter from stores such as Amazon for under £5.
If you want to get your hands on this new device Carphone Warehouse has announced it will open up its online orders for the Nokia 3310 a day early, giving those customers who pre-registered their interest the first opportunity to get their hands on the retro device.
Andrew Wilson, Buying Director at Carphone Warehouse said, “We’ve had a phenomenal response to the launch of the Nokia 3310 and customers who pre-registered with Carphone Warehouse will have the opportunity to be the first to get their hands on the device as stock at launch is limited.
“We’re contacting all our pre-reg customers to let them know we’re opening up online orders for them a day early on the 23rd May, and on the 24th May we’re hosting a special event at our 262 Oxford Street store where customers will also be able to buy the Nokia 3310.
More details coming soon as we approach one of the most anticipated launches of the year.”
