Silverwater jail inmates taken to Westmead Hospital Sydney after fire

Crime scene officers are examining the laundry building of Silverwater Correctional Complex, which went up in flames overnight and injured two inmates.

Firefighters were called to the western Sydney prison at 7.40pm.

They worked for three hours to extinguish the blaze on Friday night.
