Popular at this year’s Scout-a-Rama, held Saturday, Feb. 25 was the raingutter regatta, above. The event was manned by Pack 179 of Lead Hill and Bergman. Leading the pack was Wayne Williamson, above left. Other events included a craft booth and Gaga ball, below. Boy Scout Troop 38 of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church was in charge of Gaga ball which attracted both adults and the younger crowd in attendance. According to Bonnie Hemphill, membership committee chairperson for the Ozark District, the event is held annually to let the community know what scouting is all about and to offer an opportunity for new scouts to join the program.
